Frailty

The alarm and chaos ensnared us all
The majestic towers that stood so tall
As they collapsed we witnessed world peace fall
We are lost in a new world without an identity
The whole world silenced in sudden serenity.
Among the survivors there is a girl
Who moments ago lost her whole world
She stands alone without a father
Barely a baby when they lost her brother
No family left, since she never knew her mother
Allow us all to make her future bright
Arrive, the frailest of dawns that follows a sleepless night
Since nothing in this world can set things right:
Please Lord, let there be light.
